Our VOLT HP Pneumatic Actuator is a robust, reliable unit specifically designed for use with quarter-turn valves; used when high operation or fast cycling is called for, or in the case of spring return/open, when fail safe switching is required.

The HP series of pneumatic actuators have a proven track record with over 20 years of trouble-free operation throughout the UK and Europe and is found to be robust, reliable and ideal for automatic control. It is used to drive many versions of ball and butterfly valves in both Single and Double acting models. The modular design allows easy fitting of both feedback sensing (switchbox and inductive) devices and local or remote control of air piloting. In addition, when fitted with our AP9003 Electro Pneumatic Positioner, it enables proportional control of the unit when combined with segmented ball (V Sector) or butterfly valves.

This powerful pneumatic actuator is available as either Single or Double acting and features a Namur mounting interface, unique 'star drive' coupling and can be fully customised, fitted with switchboxes, proximity switches, solenoid pilot valves and speed control devices.

In addition, our pneumatic quarter turn rack and pinion actuator is sized with a 30% safety factor built-in, requiring a pilot pressure of 5.5 Bar and carries ATEX & PED approval, CE certification and is SIL 2 Rated.
