Pneumatic Actuated High Temperature Flanged Ball Valve

A high temperature, pneumatically actuated ball valve, suitable for more arduous and higher temperature applications. The valves feature a 2-piece, full-bore, ASTM A351 CF8M 316 stainless steel body, TFM 4215 25% carbon filled ball seats, and Grafoil body seals and stem packing. Fitted with anti-static devices for ball-stem-body, and blow- out proof stem with TA-Luft self-adjusting stem sealing and has a pressure balance hole in the ball slot. 

Available in sizes 1/2” (DN15), 3/4” (DN20), 1” (DN25), 1 1/4” (DN32), 1 1/2” (DN40), 2” (DN50), 2 1/2” (DN65), 3” (DN80), 4” (DN100), 6” (DN150), with flanged PN40 (1/2” to 2”), and PN16 (2 ½” to 6”) end connections.

The valves have a working temperature range of -20°C to 230°C and are pressure rated up to 12 bar. Supplied pre-fitted with a pneumatic actuator coupled with a 100mm heat dissipating extension (TSM). Available as either spring return or double acting versions. 

The pneumatic, quarter-turn, rack and pinion actuator is sized with a 30% safety factor built-in, requires a pilot pressure of 5.5 bar, and benefits from a Namur interface for both pilot solenoid valve and switchbox. Configurable modular options include limit switches, solenoid valves and positioners. 

The valves are Firesafe Design Approved, TA-Luft/ISO 15848-1 Design Approved, and optionally Nace MR-0175 compliant. Full technical information for the component parts making up these actuated valves can be found in the relevant datasheet as listed in Table 9 and Table 10.
