Ball Float Valve

A high-pressure ball float valve used in general services, water treatment, plumbing, and heating applications to control the level of water into water tanks and cisterns, for use with both hot, and cold-water supplies. Designed with interchangeable parts to make replacement easy, for simple, and cost-effective fluid level control within open tanks and vessels.

The valves are manufactured in accordance with BS1212 Part 1 and are offered in brass in the following sizes ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 1/4”, 1 1/2”, and 2”. A simple “Portsmouth” pattern design with screwed BSP male end connections, and supplied complete with backnuts. The valves are supplied with a pre-sized float (available in copper or plastic) to suit the valve size as follows: the ½” valve is supplied with a 4 1/2” ball, ¾” valve (6” ball), 1” valve (8” ball), 1 ¼” valve (10” ball), 1 ½” valve (10” ball), and 2” valve (12” ball) but different float sizes are available on request.

The valves have a recommended working temperature range of 0°C to 85°C, and a maximum working pressure of 20 Bar. Call 01822 855600 to discuss your project or application further with a member of our technical team or contact us via our online form.
